A little bit of Narnia, right in the front yard (anyone else think of Lantern Waste in The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe?>
Anna was too excited to play in the snow to stop and get properly dressed. There's something adorable about a toddler with flyaway hair and little jeans.
The jeans, sneakers, and no-mittens thing didn't last long. We got bundled up in a snowsuit and boots, and she raced back out to play more.
Sam had a ball. I got a glimpse of how weather extremes don't affect boys when they're having fun. He only came in when he got thirsty. He also wasn't bothered at all by the minimal accumulation (though he did comment that it wouldn't make a good snowman).
