So we're praying that if this house, (the one in our school district without the finished basement) is meant to be ours, that it won't sell until ours does. And if not, we know that another wonderful house will pop up for sale in the meantime. So I'm frantically packing, storing, cleaning, and updating the house in between entertaining the kids and doing all my normal stuff! My parents were here this weekend, and Dad and Scott got a LOT of big projects done. They sealed the driveway and the deck and fixed one of our closet doors. I've taken 5 loads to the storage unit, and have a few more to do. I also hope to rearrange some furniture in the kids' bedrooms in the next couple days.
And this afternoon, I'm tackling the kitchen cabinets. We're going to do a quick refinish to brighten them up a bit. I also need to touch up paint everywhere, fill a few holes in the wall from the master bathroom remodel (scroll down to the "After" picture and notice the holes above the sink -- that's where I removed two little bracket do-hickies), and clean the floors, trim, and windows. Yikes! Our goal is put the house on the market this week, so I better get busy.
