Welcome to our blog!
We created this spot to allow us to dialog with friends, family, and whoever else may come wandering by, about the issues we're thinking about. As a stay-at-home mother of three (so far), a job that I really do love, I still feel the need for some intellectual stimulation and an outlet for writing. I have always been a writer but have found it very difficult to make time for it lately. I'm hoping having a blog to keep up will help me carve out time to do some regular writing. I'm hoping to post from guest authors occasionally (consider this an invitation, as long as you are writing thoughtfully and not polemically). (Is polemically a word? Sure it is... at least in this world!) I welcome your comments and thoughts and hopefully we'll keep up with this!

- Evidence-based practice (this is a big new push at my children's hospital and I'm not sure I like it -- need to research it)
