Watch the index finger

I've had these pictures for almost a year now, but they got lost in the flurry of pregnancy/new baby/weird medical issues activity of this year. This week I've been organizing all my digital photography to get it ready for albums and found these treasures.

As I was cracking up at the facial expressions, a little voice in my ear whispered "Watch Anna's index finger!"

Any guesses as to the theme here?

I see a bike helmet, ball cap, sock puppets, Thomas blanket,
puppy, tea set, and matching little-kid chairs.
