Baking with kids always goes better if you're prepared -- get all the ingredients, measuring tools, bowls, etc out before you start.
Anna loved playing with the dry ingredients. She followed Sam's example really well, so the mess wasn't too bad!
Our favorite ingredient -- chocolate chips! (of course, each of us had to test them to be sure they were safe to put in the cookies)
