Where is the hardware for Elli’s bed? We stored all the pieces in a ziplock bag and clearly labeled them, but the bag has hibernated in an as-yet undisclosed den. I would like to find that den and join in the hibernation as I seem unable to get enough sleep this week. I went to bed before 10pm last night and took a power nap today. Yet the fatigue burns on behind my eyes. Or is that sensation actually my annual bout of hayfever? Or the cold I’m still holding at bay with Echinacea and zinc?
Where is Sam’s puppy? (After one night without his security item, we did successfully locate the precious aqua pooch.)
Where is the staple gun? I used it to repair a bathroom storage cabinet that we left at the old house. Haven’t seen it since.
Where are Elli’s pull-ups? After sniffing out every last spare pullup in the house and still not successfully locating the real supply, I finally had more delivered to the house.
Where is my digital camera? It is NOT packed with the computers. It is NOT packed with the office supplies. It is NOT packed in my work bag. I do NOT have pictures to share of the move or the trip we made with the kids to see Thomas the Train or the trip we made to the amusement park to get freebies from Scott’s company.
Where is the phone company? And why, in this digital age, can they not pull my old phone number over, point, click, wah-lah… dial tone at our house?
Where is my patience? The kids are bickering as bad as ever even though they have more than double the space to spread out in. And Sam begins every sentence with, “Hey mom?” And Anna senses when I’m busy with her sister or most pressed for time and chooses that exact moment to demand a hug or one-on-one time or at least a seat on my lap.
