and one child has vomited, one child has thrown a I'm-tired-but-can't-sleep tantrum, and this mom hasn't gotten more than 5 minutes of real sleep yet.
The stomach flu is going around here, and some people in our church have had it in the past week. However, Sam isn't feverish, he ate an extraordinary quantity of watermelon at lunch, and he took a direct hit to the forehead from another child's forehead tonight after eating two sno-cones. So I'm holding out hope that the stomach flu hasn't just reared its ugly head in our home, while also holding out hope that he doesn't have a concussion or worse.
Anna's restless night is a mystery to me. I gave her water, I rocked her, I crawled into bed with her, and finally I gave up and gave her Motrin. She is still throwing herself around her bed and crying.
If we have sick kids, that could make things really interesting tomorrow. We're supposed to have our home inspected by our buyers tomorrow afternoon. I will definitely have to call and reschedule if the kids are sick. If they aren't, I'm still stumped as to how I'm going to get any semblance of a nap after this sleepless night.
