I bought a knitting book today. I tried to buy it at my local yarn store, but they didn't have it. So I ordered
One Skein: 30 Quick Projects to Knit and Crochet tonight. I saw it on Saturday while at sock club and loved the concept of projects only needing one ball of yarn. I'm hoping to make a bunch of items for Christmas this year. I know, I know... Christmas is a long way off. But I have coworkers now, and even with a job, the gift budget will only go so far. If I can knit from my leftover yarn, that will help a lot! (See how easily I justify a book purchase?)
In other news, I bought yarn to make a project from that book. Before I even ordered the book. Even though it's supposed to be for yarn I already have. Hey - the yarn was on sale. And I had to buy some for a baby shower gift coming up. And the yarn for the book project was free after buying the two balls for the baby gift.
(Do I sound guilty? Like I'm making excuses? It's that obvious?)
