I had a great day. The older two kids made me cards, and Sam was so excited for me to open mine that he brought it to me as soon as I woke up on Mother's Day! Elli wrote a note, using her Dynavox to tell her teacher what she wanted to say. She said loves having tea parties with me and reading books, and her favorite thing to do with me is watch movies.
My writer husband brought me flowers and wrote a card that made me cry. I'll save it forever -- it's one of those to read on bad days when you need a pick-me-up.
