Just a brief update: I think everyone is finally over all their viruses. I am still trying to beat down a sinus infection, but I'm pretty sure those aren't contagious. Right?
After sending all the kids but Elli to various grandparents to stay while she had surgery, we've got everyone back together under one roof tonight. It's great to be healthy and together again. Elli still has a long recovery, but the good news is that she doesn't need heart surgery this year.
Little Boy will have his surgery at the end of July, so we've got some time to enjoy the summer together and get her past her surgery from last week. School ended today, and I'm delighted to get a break from the bus schedule for a few weeks.
Now I just have to figure out what to make for dinner. I didn't plan for the last week to go the way it did, so I'm still trying to get my feet back under me!
