Thanks to everyone's comments and suggestions on how to save money at the grocery store! I did a little better last week, but I can tell this is going to take practice!
I'd like to ask those coupon-clippers out there for some help.
I've looked into coupons before, and at face value, they didn't save me any money. I often don't buy the things you can get coupons for because it's cheaper and healthier to make it yourself. For the things I do buy, store brands are usually cheaper than name brands, even with a coupon. Most of the time I'm happy with store brands.
So is using coupons only when something is already on sale the trick? Is there something else I'm missing about using them? How do you make coupons work for you?
