My friend Brooke gave me this button last week. It's been such a busy weekend that I didn't even get to her blog to find it until this afternoon! She's a very accomplished knitter and a friend from WAY back (Doesn't that make me sound old? We met on the first day of our freshman year of college. I was astounded to count and realize that means we've known each other for 13 years!)
Anyway, thanks Brooke!
I know I promised this great thoughtful post about what I've been learning. But this weekend we tackled some projects at the house and Anna got sick and Elli decided that she only need a couple hour-long naps Saturday night instead of an entire night's sleep and we actually got out to have some fun last night, taking the kids to an outdoor symphony with another family.
Our house projects included stripping wallpaper in a bathroom and trying yet another system to keep the kids' clothes and toys organized and easy to put away... for everyone, not just for me. All my previous systems somehow were only intuitive for me!
So I'm still working on that blog entry. And we're still trying to finish our projects. (Scott is almost finished sanding the walls after plastering them. And I still have to install the closet organizer.) We never seem to learn that things always take longer than we think they will!
