Happy Birthdays

The first weekend in July, or the last weekend in June, is always a time of celebration in our family. My mom's and my sister's birthdays are back-to-back at that time, so we always make a weekend of it.

This year was especially fun because my niece just recently mastered walking. All the adults got quite a kick out of watching Sam and Anna's reactions to their cousin's newfound skill. Suddenly they realized she isn't a baby anymore! They enjoyed playing with each other, especially racing around the loop between the kitchen, living room, and dining room.
