Today I went to the local grocery store. It has been a couple of weeks, so I was low on a number of staples. However, with the help of a printout from The Grocery Game website and the coupons I've been collecting for a couple of months now (I lost my original stash and had to rebuild from scratch), I'm rather proud of today's receipt.

Total non-coupon savings $62.86 (includes two store coupons, one $2 and one $8)

Thanks to my high school algebra class, I figured out that I bought $250 worth of groceries for $165.33, or 34% off!
I have one more store to visit, but it will be a much shorter, smaller trip. And hopefully I won't need to return to the store again for 2 weeks. One thing I'm still not good at is anticipating things I'm going to run out of. I just make lists of things we have run out of!
